Fr fr, here's the tea on what happened in Sodom:
Two angels pulled up to Sodom one evening and caught Lot doing his city gate bouncer thing. Lot was like "omg bestie" and hit them with that VIP treatment, all bowing and everything.
Lot's giving major host energy: "Y'all can't be sleeping in the streets, that's not the vibe. Come crash at my place!" The angels were like "nah we good" but Lot wasn't taking no for an answer, mans was spamming the invite fr fr. Finally they said "aight bet" and came through.
But then things got REAL toxic real quick. The locals started giving big mob energy, surrounding Lot's house. The whole city was there acting sus, trying to harass Lot's guests. Major red flag behavior. 🚩
Lot tried to protect his guests but the mob wasn't having it. They're like "who you think you are, coming here acting like you can judge us?" and started throwing hands. But the angels said "NOT TODAY" and hit the mob with that temporary blindness debuff. Everyone outside was just spinning in circles trying to find the door like NPCs with broken AI. 💀
The angels spilled the tea to Lot: "Listen bestie, we're about to ratio this whole city fr fr. Get your family and run it! God's seen the receipts and this place is getting CANCELED."
Lot tried warning his future sons-in-law but they thought he was just posting bait: "lmao why you capping?"
Next morning the angels were like "NO TIME FOR FAKE INTERNET POINTS, JUST RUN!" Lot was still buffering so they had to drag him and the fam out the city. Angels dropping that life-saving tutorial: "Don't look back, don't stop, just keep running or you're gonna get caught in the unalive challenge."
Lot's like "ngl the mountain's kinda far tho" and begged to go to a smaller city instead. Angels said "fine, we'll spare that city, just HURRY."
Then God hit Sodom and Gomorrah with that divine delete button. Full rage quit, absolute destruction, cities got thrown in the trash fr fr. But Lot's wife didn't follow the tutorial - looked back and instantly became a salt statue. Major L. 💀🧂
Abraham woke up early to check his timeline and saw the whole area looking like someone dropped their mixtape - smoke everywhere, cities gone, absolute disaster arc.
But here's where it gets worse...
Later, Lot and his daughters were living in a cave, giving major hermit energy. The daughters did something super problematic that we're gonna skip past (trust, it's better that way), and ended up having sons named Moab and Ben-ammi, who became the ancestors of the Moabites and Ammonites.
And that's the story of how Sodom and Gomorrah got canceled fr fr. Major plot twist ending, ngl. 😬
